Starting line will be visible from the registration tables. Those racing the 5K will start to line up at 8:50am for a 9:00am start. Faster runners should line up closer to the front.
Walkers will line up after the runners depart and will start walking at 9:15am.
Awards will be presented to Overall Male and Female 5K Champion as well as top 3 5K Male and Female finishers in each of the following age brackets: 14 and under, 15-19 years, 20-29 years, 30-39 years, 40-49 years, 50-59 years, 60+ years.
This is a manual timed event being run by Pretzel City Sports. As you cross the finish line your bib number is recorded with a time. You will proceed to a chute and staff will tear off your bib tag to post results. Times are tallied and posted to www.pretzelcitysports.com the day of the race.
One water station will be available halfway through the 5K race. The 1 mile walk course will not have water. Water bottles will be available at the registration area before and after the race.
For best navigation select the "Bucks County Core Creek Dog Park" landmark from Google Maps. Make sure you are going towards the Northwest corner of the park as there are multiple entrances.
From the Turnpike
Take Exit 351 and merge onto US-1 N (4.4 mi). Take the PA-413 exit toward Bellevue Ave. Take a quick right onto Bellevue Ave (0.2 mi). Turn left onto PA-413 N / S Pine St. Continue on PA-413 N (2.9 mi). Turn right onto Tollgate Rd. Turn right onto Park Rd. Parking attendents will guide you to the parking area.
From points Northeast
Take US-1 S. Take the exit toward Oxford Valley and turn right onto Oxford Valley Rd. Turn left onto Big Oak Rd (1 mi). Turn right onto Woodbourne Rd (1.5 mi). Continue past the Core Creek Park entrance signs and turn left onto Ellis Road. Turn left onto Full Mill Rd. Turn right onto Tollgate Rd. Turn left onto Park Rd. Parking attendents will guide you to the parking area.
Take I-295 N. Take exit 8 to merge onto PA-332 W toward Newtown (2 mi). Turn left onto Woodbourne Rd. Turn right onto Ellis Rd. Turn left onto Full Mill Rd. Turn right onto Tollgate Rd. Turn left onto Park Rd. Parking attendents will guide you to the parking area.
